Using this Site
This website is divided into ten modules that focus on research based strategies for working with African American male youth in school and public libraries. There is no need to register, and you can work through any or all of the modules at your own pace. We recommend going through each of the modules in the order they are listed on the site since later modules build on the ideas established in the ones prior.
Each module follows the same basic structure. They begin with a short introduction to familiarize you with the topic followed by a selection of resources to help you build your knowledge in that area. The resources are listed under color coded headings and are annotated for your convenience with descriptions of the resource and suggestions for how it should be used.
